Asking why no Morrissey songs was a bit sarcastic on my part, but I love a juicy Robert Smith interview.Andrew Bargerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16870253927886682297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197486638138154266.post-74799222686962788642016-01-28T19:51:10.328-08:002016-01-28T19:51:10.328-08:00"What, no Smiths or Morrissey on the list?&qu..."What, no Smiths or Morrissey on the list?"

I recently listened to an interview on YouTube with Robert Smith and Lol Tolhurst from 1984, where the interviewer tells Robert that Morrissey said he became somewhat more effeminate after meeting him (Robert). Robert, never one to mince words, replies, "He's never met me. If I met him he'd be dead. I fucking hate him. He's a talentless half-wit." So that may answer your question as to why no Morrissey or Smiths. But then again I've heard him say some pretty nasty things about some of the artists that are on the list.

Here's a link to the interview. The Morrissey bit is right at 11:00.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VQNYCWsxpUMonkedelichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09406554839961107477noreply@blogger.com
